Hello, Bombshell! Let's talk about your professional makeover at the boudoir studio! Really, it's one of the most awesomely fun things about a boudoir photoshoot. If you've had a professional makeover before, you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you haven't, you are in for a real treat!! Every photo session at our studio includes professional makeup with our beauty team to get you dolled up and camera-ready. Before Your Makeover There are a few things you can do before your boudoir photoshoot to get the most out of your time in front of the camera! Here are some tips: Get a salon mani/pedi before your photo session. Your hands and feet will be in a lot of photos! Get your eyebrows shaped and your hair trimmed. If you color your hair, think about a touch up. Consider waxing, but be sure to wax a few days before your photoshoot, to avoid visible skin irritation. Stay out of the sun. You don't want a sunburn or tan lines! Avoid exfoliating your face or using any products that contain AHA/BHA for at least three days before your shoot. Bombshell Charity Calendar 2022: Thank you for your Donations

The Bombshells Hang Out!

It all started eight years ago, when professional photographer Daysy started thinking beyond weddings and family events. She had always been a passionate advocate for raising women's self confidence and esteem. As a photographer, Daysy had witnessed too many women who were unhappy with the way they looked and felt about themselves. She wanted to do something to help them love themselves, but what? Daysy tried all sorts of different types photography, including glamour shots and boudoir. Daysy wanted to practice more boudoir photography, but where could she find a woman willing to be her guinea pig? The answer was Kelly, who was a friend of a friend and willing to do all the poses and sessions Daysy needed to hone her craft. During this intense experience, Daysy fell in love with Boudoir photography, and she and Kelly became close friends. Years later, when Kelly struggled with feelings of anxiety and low self-confidence, she turned to her friend Daysy for another boudoir photo shoot. Meet Studio Manager Susan!

Meet Susan, our Studio Manager! Susan retired last year from a 30-plus year career as a writer and editor for Bloomberg Industry Group, and she's thrilled to be devoting her time to the things she's most passionate about. She is a Reiki Master, Animal Reiki Master, and freelance editor and blogger. She also hosts a weekly vegetarian cooking channel on YouTube, check her out and subscribe for delicious dinner ideas: My Mom's Recipe Box. Susan and her husband Mark share their home with three rescued animals: Ruby, the German Shepherd puppy, and cats Lulu and Clive.
