What’s to Love About Bodysuits?

A bodysuit is a one-piece lingerie outfit that either pulls on, laces up or snaps at the crotch.

Bodysuits come in all kinds of fun shapes, styles and colors. This is not your grandma’s leotard from the ‘80s! (Although if you want to rock one of those, I can make it look great on camera too, no worries!)

I really love bodysuits for boudoir photoshoots. They photograph great and are usually really comfortable to wear too. You can buy bodysuits from many brick & mortar and online retailers, often at a very affordable price point. There’s really no reason to blow your budget on high-end luxury brands of bodysuits.

Here’s more on why we love bodysuits at the boudoir studio:

1. Bodysuits are flattering on any body type. Seriously. Whether you’re curvy or slender, short or tall, a bodysuit will look fabulous on you.  We promise!

2. Bodysuits are sexy but also provide a bit of coverage. By definition, a bodysuit includes a bit more fabric than a bra & panty set.  That adds comfort and style.

3. Bodysuits come in a thousand different shapes and styles, including high neck, plunge, lacy, and strappy. The possibilities are endless!

4. Bodysuits accessorize well. Bodysuits look fantastic when worn alone, but they also look amazing as the foundation of an outfit. Think about wearing a lacy and plunging bodysuit under one of your man’s unbuttoned business shirts, for example.
