What is a Maternity Boudoir Photoshoot Like?

Here’s what Florence had to say about her baby bump boudoir session with Daysy:

“I signed up for a boudoir photoshoot when I was about 5 months pregnant.  It gave me something to look forward to as the pregnancy progressed.  When I was about 7 months along, I went to the studio for the photoshoot.  I was a bit nervous initially, but I wanted to capture some beautiful photos of my baby bump. I’m so glad that I went through with it. The photo session itself was so freeing, fun, and fabulous. The photographer showed me exactly what to do and how to pose.  I am glad that I was brave enough to take these revealing photos. I am really happy that I chose to capture this precious, rare moment in life. Because these are photos that I will love and have forever.  I will look back in admiration and be so proud that I did this while I was pregnant. Thank you for this incredibly liberating experience and the gorgeous images. I truly felt like a real princess at the studio.”

Another baby bump bombshell, Robin, had this to say about her photoshoot:

I decided to book a boudoir photoshoot while I was pregnant. This was a celebration of my beautiful baby bump! I wanted to capture this time before it was over. I knew that I wanted maternity photos and I wanted something sensual. Even though this pregnancy has been really hard (I have been so sick!), I wanted to remember this time.  And my boyfriend loves my curves right now, so I knew he would love the photos too.

I was worried about what I would look like on camera. I’m not very photogenic.  I was also worried about the veins on my legs and what to wear. I worried for nothing.

The shoot was absolutely amazing!  I can honestly say that this is a part of my pregnancy that I will never forget. The staff was soooo great! When I arrived they made sure I was totally comfortable and had water etc.  For hair and makeup I went with a more natural look.  I wanted to go for a natural earth goddess look.  I asked for sexy, beachy waves in my hair and a soft pink lip.  I loved my hair and makeup look!  During the shoot we did so many different poses and looks – I loved it!  We did some that were soft and romantic and others that were more sexy and sultry.  I’m so happy with everything and how it turned out!  

I got an album to give to my boyfriend and he loves it so much.  He keeps it on his bedside and pulls it out all the time!  We love the photos now, but I know that I will love and enjoy them even more as the years go on and I can look back at this time before our baby arrived.  I also got a print to hang in my closet.  It’s a black and white of just my bare baby bump and I just love it so much.  That one is just for me.  I look at it all the time and just love it.
